We are Shred N Melt

Shred N Melt started in a garage as a Precious Plastic motivated hobby in 2019, we, like most, had an idea, to be made from recycled plastic. We quickly realised that there was nowhere to get items made from recycled plastic on a small scale operation. Although there were DIY solutions for home made alternatives or machines this was a time and finical cost were were not expecting or wanting. So after experimenting and having no choice but to build machines to create what we needed, we saw an opportunity to bring affordable reliable professional plastic recycling machinery to everyone. So we delved deep into the design and manufacture of a micro scale and affordable solution for home, school, small business and off grid based recycling operations.

We are Australian and Chinese based founders Mat and Benson who decided after several years working together, to set up our own engineering shop in China to capitalise on cheaper resources, better quality control, world wide shipping and to make sure our quality plastic recycling machinery & solutions were affordable and accessible for all.

If recycling is unaffordable we will continue as a whole to reject it and its potential to help reshape the future. We see plastic as a necessary product with a focus to promote used plastic as a resource not waste!

At Shred N Melt we understand the cost of recycling can be high, so we have developed a series of affordable recycling equipment to help aid in the set-up of your plastic recycling journey, designed with education and small business needs at the forefront. Our Desktop series are built to comply with Australia, New Zealand and Europe’s robust safety standards holding both RCM and CE certification. If you are after something a little larger, check out our commercial series of plastic recycling machines.
